Rules for admission in 4-year BA B.Ed / B.Sc B.Ed. Course

1. PTET-2025 exam will be conducted for admission in BA B.Ed / B.Sc B.Ed colleges of Rajasthan. Online applications are being invited by Vardhman Mahaveer Open University, Kota. The fee for which is Rs 500/-. Candidates will be able to apply from 05 March to 07 April, 2025.

2. If candidates of Science Faculty apply for both 4-year BA, B.Ed. and B.Sc B.Ed., then their fee will be Rs 1000/-.

3. For desirable qualification, the candidate should have obtained minimum 50 percent marks in Higher Secondary Examination from Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education, Ajmer or equivalent board and minimum 45 percent marks are required for SC, ST, OBC, MBC, Divyang category, widow, abandoned female candidates. There is no relaxation of any kind in the minimum percentage (not even by a single mark).

4. After passing class 10th, if a candidate passes a course of two or more years recognized by National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT) and passes the English subject examination as per the course prescribed for 12th from Board of Secondary Education Rajasthan / Rajasthan State Open School, Jaipur, then he/she will be considered equivalent to passing 12th.

5. To take admission in 4 year B.Sc. B.Ed. course, it is necessary to have science stream in the higher secondary examination.

6. Candidates having arts, commerce and science stream in the higher secondary examination will be eligible to take admission in 4 year B.A. B.Ed. course.

7. Those candidates who are appearing in the higher secondary examination this year can also take the examination on the condition that their higher secondary examination result should be available before the last date of registration in counseling.

8. Faculty wise and category wise merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in BA.B.Ed/B.Sc B.Ed Examination-2025. Which will be available on the website of PTET.

9. Conditions for category wise reservation and domicile will be as per the conditions mentioned in B.Ed. admission.
